Stainless Steel Models The SM(N) Series is the stainless steel line of Universal Dial Scales. These models are constructed out of stainless steel, with nickel and zinc plated internal components. These features provide maximum protection against corrosion. The weighing system is a temperature compensated spring mechanism, with readings up to 800g, by 1g increments. It also features an operating temperature of 14 °F to 104 °F (-10 °C to 40 °C). Air Dashpot An air dashpot option is convenient for fast, high volume weighing applications. The dashpot acts as a "shock absorber". This controls the oscillations of the indicator to provide weight readings within a fraction of a second. Many Receptacle Options *Accu-Weigh Universal Dial Scales come with a stainless steel snap-on platform, standard. Many other receptacle options are possible, such as the 10"scoop, shown above. A larger 5 quart bowl is available, as well as an 18 quart bowl. See the specifications below for further information.
